A Little History
What is a Virtual Assistant?
Most
virtual assistants have been around since the 1970s, but the
improvement of internet services and technology has helped the
virtual industry grow dramatically since the mid-90s. Most VAs
are entrepreneurs that work from home or from remote locations
in the service of clients.
A good definition of a virtual assistant is an
independent entrepreneur providing professional administrative,
creative, managerial, technical, business office and/or personal
support services. We use the most advanced means of
communication, and the newest, most efficient, time-saving
office products and work delivery, regardless of geographic
boundaries. Virtual Assistants work from their own offices, on a
contractual basis, and abide by an established Code of Ethics
requiring integrity, honesty and due diligence.
Virtual assistants can provide the same services to
real estate professionals as any industry - customer management,
marketing assistance, transaction coordination, office
management, mailing assistance, photo and art services,
PowerPoint presentations, graphic design, notary services,
project management, sec services, web services, copyediting,
reminders, sales support and numerous other services. |
